A backpack on his shoulders and an undying love for the Himalayan Mountains, he treks on!
Isa Khan's story is about the urge to explore; a story about finding meaning; a story about a man who has a passion. He is a teacher, an actor, a travel junkie, a mountain lover, and a self-proclaimed bathroom singer.
Isa began as an Economics teacher and an actor who trained in theater for 8 years. He has also acted in some TV commercials, a couple of short films, and a web series. His trekking journey began almost 2 years ago when he ventured to the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib with a friend simply to break the monotony.
Unaware, that trek laid the seed of a solid, unbreakable bond between him and nature. The moments he spent amidst the mountains ignited a spark within. And soon, certain life events took him back to the Himalayas, this time alone. And once you step into that zone, there is no turning back. With each trek his love grew, and soon, trekking became an addiction.
Over two years, he has explored the better parts of the Himalayas and the mountain clad regions and has led a few treks too. Some of his treks include tours to Har ki Dun, Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib, Dodital, Dayara Bugyal, and Madhyamaheshwar. He has also explored the beautifully barren and cold regions of Ladakh and Spiti Valley.
A simple lad from the small town of Uttar Pradesh, Isa moved to Delhi to pursue higher education, but ended up finding home under deep blue skies and rugged mountains.
